POSITION: Junior Tennis Assistant
REPORTS TO: Tennis General Manager
FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Junior Tennis Assistant provides support to the Head Tennis Pro and Assistant Tennis Professionals in the junior programs.
The Junior Tennis Assistant must be able to teach all levels and ages of the junior program.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coaching kids of all ages and skill levels
Be able to teach technique, strategy, fitness, and etiquette.
Must be able to communicate effectively with kids
Must be able to lead a court/group effectively
No private lessons
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Good communication skills
Ability to maintain regular attendance and be punctual
Must be a team player and possess a positive attitude
Playing and coaching experience preferred
Knowledge of Tennis rules and regulations required
Passionate about tennis
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Frequent or occasional need to perform the following physical activities: grasping, finger dexterity, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting.
Lifting/carrying up to 40 pounds
Standing and walking on various surfaces for an extended period of time.
All offers are contingent upon a successful background check as well as a drug screening.
