As an Instructor, you will work in a day program setting with individuals with mild to profound intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, their families and other members of their support system to assist in reaching their goals and objectives.
Your support and instruction will help individuals achieve goals, overcome barriers, and become more independent.
In your role you will work together with the people we serve, their families, friends, and other support staff to transform their lives.
Key functions and duties of an Instructor include but are not limited to; organize and implement daily activities; plan and schedule community activities and outings; instruct and motivate program participants; develop and follow individual schedules to ensure that program and individual goals are implemented; and observe and document data for participants as required.

People interested in the Instructor positions should demonstrate empathy, standard oral and written communication skills, and attention to detail.
Must pass pre-employment health screening, TB screening, back evaluation, fingerprint clearance and pre-employment drug screen (Paid for by the agency).
