Educator

We are looking for an educator who wants to connect directly with communities.
We operate apartment communities and are looking for partners to help our residents stay connected with the rapidly changing face of education.
*Responsibilities:* * Reviewing classroom or curricula topics and assignments.
* Assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation, papers, research, and other academic tasks.
* Working with students to help them understand key concepts, especially those learned in the classroom.
* Teaching skills to improve academic performance, including study strategies, note-taking skills and approaches to answering test questions.
* Demonstrating academic best practices for specific subjects and assignments, including research and writing tactics * Developing and distributing teaching materials to supplement classroom lessons, including study guides * Providing students positive and constructive feedback * Other duties as assigned.
*Required Skills/Abilities:* * Outgoing, friendly attitude with the ability to make others feel welcome and comfortable.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Detail-oriented and organized.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
* Must be able to travel regularly between property locations.
*Education and Experience:* * Degree in education field preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $23.
00 - $25.
