Description
As part of Software Delivery Cloud SRE, you will be responsible for delivering reliable services and driving projects to a successful outcome.
This role will focus on maintaining and improving a broad set of critical services used by teams across Software Engineering.
You will monitor SLOs, respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and ensure services are up-to-date and secure.
You will collaborate with engineering teams to implement best practices and shape technical decisions.
Job Responsibilities: - Adopt and apply SRE best practices to services you contribute to.
- Create automation for manual tasks/toil - Develop playbooks for alert resolution - Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams - Participate in 24 x 7 on-call rotations - Modernize existing mission-critical services To ensure your success, this job will provide you with: - Passionate and talented coworkers around the globe that are ready to collaborate, mentor, and learn - Ownership of the services you manage to provide the autonomy to drive meaningful improvements in operational reliability - Opportunities to contribute to best practices used by SRE teams within Software Delivery - Training in technologies that may be new to you

Bachelors, Masters, or equivalent experience in Computer Science

- Prior experience as an SRE, software engineer, or system administrator
- Proven ability to self-manage large projects and meet deadlines
- Experience in some of the following areas:
- Development with Python, Ruby, or similar scripting languages
- Container orchestration with Kubernetes
- Data visualization with Grafana or Splunk
- CI/CD pipeline creation with Jenkins or similar services

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
The base pay range for this role is between $131,500.
00 and $243,300.
00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
