As an NCST driver, you'll have the opportunity to see the sights of southern California while transporting students on field trips and fun excursions throughout the county.
Our specialty lies in school field trips and after-school sports, and we also frequently work event shuttles and private event transportation.

*YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:*
* *Possession of both a SPAB Certificate AND School Bus Certificate valid in the state of California*
* *Availability 6-10 hours per day, 3-4 days a week*
* Minimum *1 year* of professional student activity school bus driving experience that encompasses regular school bus operation on public streets and highways
* Friendly, punctual, and professional attitude, with personality and character traits well-suited for the supervision of students and children
* Clean criminal & driving record
* Proficient in English reading and writing
* Ability to lift 20 lbs.

*PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Strict adherence to drive schedules
* Fill out trip information slips as required by California Highway Patrol
* Thorough vehicle inspection before & after each trip, and promptly reporting any issues to maintenance
* Maintain a clean vehicle and sweep out your bus at the end of each day
* Interact with staff and students in a friendly and professional manner
* Enforce conduct and safety rules on the bus at all times
* Prompt reporting of any delays, accidents, and emergencies
* Effective response in emergency/non-emergency situations
* Assist with loading/unloading vehicle cargo as needed
