*Responsibilities of a Driver/Material Handler:*
* Safely deliver materials to jobsites using Western Water Works' 26’ Stake bed trucks (Non-CDL).
* Maintain truck interior and exterior.
* Operate trucks, forklifts, banding equipment, tools, and materials in our warehouse safely.
* Effectively communicate with team members to resolve issues.
* Handle, ship, and receive heavy materials in our warehouse.
* Contribute to warehouse processes, activities, and success.
* Provide exceptional client service and support while maintaining accuracy and safety standards.
*Work Hours/Shift:*
* Second Shift (Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM ~ 12 AM); NO WEEKENDS
*Requirements & Traits:*
* Valid Driver's License and insurability are necessary.
* Minimum of 1 year with a Driver's License is required.
* Pre-employment drug screening is mandatory.
* Willingness to accept coaching and supervision.
* Proficient time and resource management skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Desired Traits: In addition to the specific requirements, we value candidates who bring strong soft skills, including teamwork, initiative, and a growth mentality.
*Compensation:*
* $19/hr.
to start during the 13-week Driver/Material Handler Temporary Period.
* $21/hr.
upon full-time permanent employment with Western Water Works (after completing the Driver/Material Handler checklist).
* Enjoy a $1/hr.
increase upon successful completion of the Assistant Supervisor checklist.
* Further increase of $1/hr.
upon completion of the Branch Supervisor checklist.
* An additional $1/hr.
raise when assigned as an Assistant Supervisor.
* Potential to earn $72k/yr as a Branch Supervisor, with greater earning potential in roles such as Project Manager and Director of Sales.
