Welcome to Allied Storage Containers! We are a family-owned California based premier portable storage container rental and sales company established in 1998.
We are looking for truck drivers with landoll trailer, roll back truck, or tow truck experience to join our growing team in *San Diego, CA*.
Primary responsibility of this job is to deliver and pick-up empty storage containers from our customers job sites.
*Essential duties and responsibilities*
* Deliver or pick up containers from specific locations around the Southern CA area
* Ensure delivery receipts are made out and turned in for each delivery or pick up
* Complete daily truck/trailer inspections and turn in required paperwork daily
* Maintain an organized and efficient truck loading and unloading system
* Verify container numbers with delivery instructions to ensure the correct container is selected
* Provide customers with receipts and other paperwork
* Help to resolve any service issues: level containers, sweep and clean containers
* Operate vehicles in a safe manner obeying all traffic and local rules
* Operate a large forklift when required to load and unload trucks
*Required skills and abilities*
* Class A CDL California driver’s license
* Valid medical card
* 2 years actual experience driving tractor trailer rigs
* Experience using Landoll trailers and/or other hydraulically operated trailer systems
* Clean MVR and excellent safety record
* Ability to work as a team member and help others succeed
