SUMMARY
The Driver ("Conductor/a") creates a strong sense of arrival for hotel, restaurant, and banquet guests by welcoming them to the hotel and safely parking their car in the hotel or local garage.
This position also assists the Door Staff by opening the front door when not parking cars and assures that guests' departure is swift by retrieving guests' cars in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Drives car to hotel garage, adhering to all traffic regulations, and speed limits, using caution not to damage the vehicle being driven and other vehicles in the vicinity.
Assesses any damage to the vehicle.
Opens hotel doors for all guests and gives verbal welcome when not parking or retrieving guest cars.
Enhance our guests' experience by offering assistance in unpacking and organizing their luggage and golf clubs.
Provide secure and organized storage for guests' luggage and golf clubs on a temporary basis.
Create positive memories for our guests by informing them of local activities and entertainment with energy and enthusiasm.
Provide personal services such as delivering messages, packages, and faxes to guest rooms and meeting rooms in a timely manner.
Answer the department telephone with a friendly voice using professional telephone techniques and etiquette.
Schedule and arrange transportation services for our guests.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED.
At least 3-12 months of relevant experience and/or training.
If no educational background, at least 1 year.
A combination of experience, education, and/or training may be substituted for either requirement.
Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred.
Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
Current industry certifications required: Current, unexpired, driver’s license with no recent violations.
Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges.
Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
