Pet Sitter Needed for Dog and Cat in Oceanside near College Blvd and Old Grove RD
Hello Neighbors!
We are seeking a caring and responsible individual from our community to help care for our two beloved pets while we're away.
We live in a cozy two-story house in Oceanside near College Blvd and Old Grove RD, and we need someone who can visit with short notice to ensure our furry friends are happy and healthy when we are away for work and can't make it home on time.
Our home has wifi, a comfortable living room, a working space, a pool, a Jacuzzi, and a backyard lounge with a firepit.
For days that we are gone, you are welcome to stay with them while you do your work and study, they would love the company.
About Us:
I am a female engineer working in the construction industry.
Sometimes, my job locations are far from home, and I may not make it back in time to care for the pets.
Traveling with both pets is challenging and uncomfortable for them.
While I'm an animal lover, my line of work makes it hard to give them the care they need.
I have two roommates, one male software engineer, and one female phlebotomist.
They also have difficult schedules so it would be nice to have someone else who can help out when we can't be home.
Pet Details:
Dog: Ziukie
Age: 10 years old
Breed: Corgi and Papillon mix
Weight: 18 lbs
Description: Ziukie is a sweet and affectionate little dog with a heart murmur.
He requires medication every 12 hours, and we're looking for someone nearby who can administer it reliably.
He enjoys short walks and loves spending time with people.
Cat: Thor
Age: 5 years old
Breed: Ragdoll
Weight: 7 lbs
Description: Thor is a resilient cat who overcame a back injury a couple of years ago.
He wears little cat diapers around the house and sometimes stays in a crate when we're traveling.
We need someone who can check on him and, ideally, is willing to learn how to change his diaper if needed.
Thor also enjoys short strolls in his stroller.
Job Requirements:
Someone who lives close enough to our home so that same-day requests can be made for days we do not make it home on time due to our work schedule.
Sometimes we need to go out of town for work, and we are looking for someone who can visit our home at least twice a day to administer Ziukie's medication and ensure both pets have food, water, and a clean environment.
Provide companionship and playtime for both pets.
Dates Needed:

Payment:
$20/visit - Medication, food replenishment, and crate change.
We are willing to offer more if the pet sitter is willing to learn to change diapers, take them on walks, or overnight pet sit when we are out of town.

Basic Visit - Medication, food replenishment, and crate change.
House check Visit - Check the house to look safe, hang out and play with pets, give medication to Ziukie, do food replenishment, do a crate change or change diapers, and take them on a short walk.
House Sitting - Sleepover for a couple of nights when we are gone, check the house to look safe, give medication to Ziukie, do food replenishment, and do a crate change.
You are always free to enjoy the amenities when petsitting.

We would prefer a student or perhaps a neighbor that we can get to know and teach them about the pet's needs.
If you are willing to learn to change the diapers we can offer a little more compensation.
