Pay is $25/hourly on the books via W2 payroll service PLUS+ $500-$550 per day when Auntie is traveling (Travel pay is minimum extra $2000 per month on top of hourly pay.
Often it will be more) +PTO
Must have a safe & reliable vehicle for transporting child, and Auntie from time to time.
You’ll also be compensated at the CA reimbursement rate for wear & tear.
Please have a 25 minute or less commute, max.
(Even if you don’t mind commuting)

Requires a proper resume or willingness to make one after the initial interview
Requires Childcare & Household Management experience.
Requires 3 solid childcare/eldercare/household management references.
Please be fully vaccinated, willing to receive the newest covid booster, & annual flu shot
Background Check/DMV Report/Trustline fingerprinting
Please have a commute of 25 minutes or less
Please have current CPR/First Aid or willingness to update
Clean driving record & reliable transportation & liability insurance

Please have an open and flexible schedule, and no attachments that would keep you from moving into the home at least 5 days per month & longer periods of time up to 20 days (with help) or keep you from last-minute schedule changes

Really special Family Assistant/Nanny requested in Carlsbad, 92009 (La Costa) for a super unique position that you would share with another Nanny/Family Assistant 7 days per week.
You would be the Lead Family Assistant/Nanny.
(You would not personally have to work 7 days per week.
You’ll agree on the schedule and cover for one another)
Fun, endearing, and eccentric 75-year-old woman who is raising her 13 year old nephew.
He is such an awesome kid, but Auntie needs a lot of help.
During the school year on school days, you’d have a split-shift schedule (or one or the other, depending on how you choose to structure things with the other person) from approximately 6:30-8:30 AM, and again from approximately 1 to 6 PM M-F.
Weekend/school break hours TBD.
Position is 7 days a week to be shared with the other caregiver.
Aside from when Auntie is traveling, position is *live-out only* & $25/hourly firm due to excessive travel pay.
Position involves everything.
Cooking, light house cleaning, organizing, homework help, driving, errands, personal assistance to Auntie, laundry, communicating with the school, setting up playdates and parties, etc.
Most importantly, mentorship and loving care of the child, and assistance and loving respect of Auntie.
Please have impeccable organization, household management, housekeeping skills, and a solid work ethic, and great attention to detail.
Please be skilled in technology, since Auntie is not very tech savvy and needs help.
Please be tidy, take initiative, and follow through the first time you're asked to do something.
Auntie is an incredibly smart and accomplished woman, and is also kind and caring, but she wants things done a certain way and would like to be consulted before changes are made.
She is savvy and will not allow anyone to take advantage, but will give you the shirt off her back if you prove to be loyal, trustworthy, and do the job well.
The young man is an absolute doll.
Super smart, thoughtful, studious, and endearing.
Please be authentic, honest, and capable of managing every aspect of a highly functioning and organized household.
