Software Operations Engineer

Responsibilities: Noblis MSD is looking for a software engineer proficient in the design, maintenance and sustainment of the Network Integration and Engineering Facility (NIEF) IT infrastructure.
We are looking for an experienced software system developer proficient in the onsite support for the operational Microsoft applications, operations and system lockdown.
Tasking includes: Provisioning and managing all government IT resources for NIEF operations including: Software loading, security patching, critical updates and lock downs Creating virtual LANs, network capabilities and operations Developing software templates as needed for operations.
Provide IT support for SPAWAR’s Network Integration and Engineering Facility, including provisioning accounts, processing access requests, etc.
Ensure computer systems are compliant with DoD security regulations and standards.
Oversee system performance and develop operational updates to address system performance issues including.
Changing the configuration to address identified errors or performance declines.
Regression testing Evaluation of third-party solutions.
Required Qualifications: Experienced supporting server, storage, workstation and peripheral equipment.
Experience in managing IA requirements including IAVAs and STIGS Direct Experience developing in the following languages C++ Java SQL PowerShell Must have Software development Degree and 6 months direct Navy onsite support Must possess Active Secret Clearance Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in software development.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws.
The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status.
Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours.
The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.
Posted Salary Range: USD $61,600.
