Padres Baseball & Softball Camps EMT/Nurse Intern Padres Baseball Camps is now hiring for an Assistant Site Director who will be the EMT/Nurse Intern for our summer youth camps in San Diego.
Padres Summer Camps is looking an Assistant Site Director in San Diego County who is energetic, positive, and who loves to inspire our youth to make good choices and be accountable for their actions and decisions - all while having a great time! We provide the equipment, training, and curriculum.
You provide the leadership that will help our campers have a wonderful learning experience and leave camp with a love of the game, new friends, better baseball/softball skills, and an appreciation for the importance of personal accountability.
We have a number of different positions available for our baseball and softball camps - from Coach to Site Director - and we need a variety of coaching skill levels to enhance the experience for ages 4 through 13.

Know how to have a lot of fun!! Core Responsibilities: Ensure a safe camp environment for all staff, campers, and parents Administer first-aid properly as needed to campers and staff Manage medications for campers with life-threatening allergies and other medical needs (ex.
EpiPens) and ensure that each camp coach is aware of their campers who require extra attention Communicate to parents and headquarters regarding injuries, illnesses, and incidents that occur at camp Maintain detailed health records of campers Work proactively with all camp staff to ensure that a preemptive approach is taken, in order to minimize injury and risk Work with coaches and other staff members to help resolve camper conflicts and to create a positive and friendly environment for everyone involved with the camp Assist with the production and organization of essential camp reports including attendance, employee timekeeping, and customer service-related records Qualifications for all coaching positions: Be prepared to make a 10 week commitment Monday-Friday for approximately eight hours per day Padres Baseball & Softball Camps run every week from June 10, 2024 to August 16, 2024 Be prepared to travel to each site with reliable transportation of your own Be able to pass a comprehensive background screening Pay is based on skill level and experience Camp Locations include: La Jolla 4S Ranch North Park Encinitas San Carlos Chula Vista Poway Torrey Hills Point Loma Rancho Bernardo La Costa Coronado Del Mar Santee Carlsbad Our Interview Process: After your application is submitted, here is what you can expect next: Receive an invitation to complete a one-way interview Complete a 15 minute virtual interview with our Padres Camps General Manager Complete a 20 minute virtual interview with our Executive Director Final decision! Compensation: The hourly wage for this position is $22.
50 per hour.
