*We’re currently looking for a Babysitter in South Carlsbad, CA*
A lovely family in South Carlsbad is seeking a long-term occasional babysitter for their active, independent, and creative 10-year old to start as soon as possible.
Backup care is needed intermittently as needed and during school breaks and can fall on any day between Monday-Friday from 11am-5pm.
Occasional assistance with picking up the child from school or camp would also be helpful.
Those applying do not need to be available for all requests, but should understand that there are no guaranteed hours for this position.
The family is typically able to provide at least a week’s notice for any care needs.
The family is looking for a sitter that will be responsible, creative, energetic, caring and good at setting boundaries.

*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Engage with and spend time with the child through various activities
* Going for walks or playing in the local parks
* Planning activities for the child to engage in
* Prepare and provide lunch and snack
*REQUIREMENTS:*
* 2+ years of professional childcare experience
* Authorized to work in the United States
* Driver’s license + reliable vehicle
* Clean driving record
* CPR certified or willing to become certified
*Compensation: *Position pays $20-25 per hour and client is looking for occasional backup care
