We are a small Christian-faith Preschool located in Spring Valley, CA.
We are looking for a fully qualified, full-time or part-time Toddler Teacher.
Someone who is energetic, fun, loving, reliable, punctual and ministry minded.
We are looking for team players who are willing to go above and beyond to serve our families and children.
The ideal candidate will be able to maintain a personal appearance as a Christian role model.
Roles and Responsibility:
* Daily communication to parents by conversation, emails or notes.
* Making each and every family feel safe and confident while leaving their child in our care.
* Teacher plans and implement their own lesson plans using provided curriculum
* Teachers will be responsible for creating (we have lots of resources) age appropriate activities, books, music and play
* Keeping a clean and organized classroom
* Create engaging spaces and maintaining a safe learning environment
* Must be a diaper changing professional or be willing to learn!
* Help with introducing to potty-training.
* Will be working with an aide in the classroom.
* RATIOS: 2 teachers: 8 students
*REQUIREMENTS:*
* 12 completed ECE units, including Infant/Toddler class (CORE units completed; Child Growth & Development, Child/Family/Community, Curriculum)
* Must have Infant/Toddler class completed, or enrolled in
* LIVESCAN CLEARANCE
* PHYSICAL & TB Clearance
* Updated Immunizations
* CPR/ FIRST AID CERTIFIED
* Copy of unofficial transcripts
*Working Schedule: M-F, 1:30pm-5:30pm part-time; with full-time position available, 8am-4:30pm*
*Pay Rate: $17.
