We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Provider to join our team.
As a Childcare Provider, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children.
Your responsibilities will include supervising children, planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, and ensuring their well-being.
```Duties```
- Supervise and monitor children in a safe and nurturing environment
- Assist with the implementation of daily activities and routines, including educational, recreational, and creative activities.
- Assist with meal times, including meal preparation, serving, and clean-up, ensuring that dietary restrictions and preferences are accommodated.
- Change diapers and assist with potty training
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom or play area, including sanitizing toys and surfaces regularly.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other staff members, providing updates on the children's activities and progress.
- Follow health and safety protocols, including administering first aid when necessary and ensuring that all children are supervised at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the lead teacher or supervisor to support the smooth operation of the child care program.
```Skills```
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Experience working with children, preferably in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of childhood development stages and milestones
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- First aid and CPR certified
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
