We are currently seeking enthusiastic Summer Camp Counselors who are passionate about education and technology to join our vibrant team.
As a counselor, you will have the unique opportunity to mentor young minds and introduce them to the exciting world of Computer Science and AI.

Job Duties:
- Camp Leadership: Guide groups of students through the camp curriculum that includes AI concepts, coding workshops, and interactive projects.
- Engagement and Supervision: Create a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment.
Supervise campers during all camp activities, ensuring safety and promoting positive interactions.
- Curriculum Delivery: Facilitate and deliver structured AI and Computer Science content in an understandable and enjoyable way to stimulate camper interest and participation.
- Activity Coordination: Manage logistics and preparations for daily activities, ensuring all materials and technology are ready for use.
- Personal Development: Offer personal mentorship and support to campers, helping them navigate learning challenges and celebrating their achievements.
- Collaborative Environment: Work closely with other counselors and camp staff to enhance the camp experience, sharing insights and strategies to improve educational outcomes.
- Policy Adherence: Follow all camp policies and procedures, particularly those regarding camper safety and curriculum standards.
Skills and Experience:
- Educational Background: Current university student or graduate, preferably in education, computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field.
- Experience with Children: Previous experience working with children in a camp, school, or after-school setting is highly desirable.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively with children and teens of various ages and backgrounds.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfort with basic programming concepts and enthusiasm for teaching tech-based content.
Familiarity with languages like Python or Java is a plus.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to handle the dynamic nature of a summer camp environment, including day-to-day shifts in activity schedules or educational challenges.
- Passion for Education: A genuine interest in educational development, with a commitment to inspiring and nurturing young talent in the field of AI.
