*Backstage Health* is currently looking for _*Outdoor Education Specialists*_ to join our team on a contract basis, serving an exciting Outdoor School located in *Descanso, CA.

*Assignment Hours:* Monday - Thursday, 40 hours per week, with 10-hour shifts.
*Responsibilities:*
* Provide educational support and guidance to students in various activities, including outdoor hikes.
* Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to students' specific needs and objectives.
* Employ effective teaching strategies to engage students and foster their academic and personal development.
* Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals to cultivate a nurturing learning environment.
* Monitor and track student progress, offering continuous feedback to facilitate ongoing improvement.
* Maintain precise records of student performance.
*Requirements:*
* Previous experience working with students in settings such as daycare, babysitting, tutoring, or similar roles.
* Familiarity with childhood development principles and techniques.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Demonstrated patience, empathy, and the ability to establish connections with students of diverse ages and backgrounds.
* Adaptability to tailor teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students.
* Proficiency in managing classroom dynamics and addressing behavioral challenges in a constructive manner.
* Completion of college-level coursework in natural sciences or related fields.
