Preschool Assistant Teacher

*Job description* Westwood Club Preschool is a non-denominational, play-based community preschool located within the Westwood Club community center.
We are now accepting new applicants to join our exceptional teaching team.
The assistant teacher will work under the supervision of one or more lead teachers to design and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum for children ages 2-5.
Must be a good team player, have an enthusiastic attitude and a love for working with children.
*Qualifications:* * 12 ECE units including 2 core classes and 2 curriculum/program classes.
* Previous experience working in a preschool or childcare setting preferred but not required.
* Ability to effectively communicate with others (e.

, students, parents, staff).
* An understanding of early childhood educational methods and learning styles.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $17.
