Carlsbad Commercial Playground Equipment Company is looking to expand its sales team throughout the Southern California region.
Our Territory Sales Representatives will create and build client relationships, each managing a specific territory in addition to supporting sales, business retention and business development initiatives in the assigned territory.
This position serves as an integral team player in supporting and managing playground business development to include customer visits, presentations, conference attendance, and preparation of quotes.
This position is primarily located in our Carlsbad office and will include travel within the assigned territory at a minimum of 2 days per week.
Market towards architects, landscape architects, cities, school districts, HOA management companies, builders, developers, etc.
Minimum Requirements
● Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills.
● High energy, motivated, driven, persistent, take initiatives, professional work ethics.
● Prior consistent quota achievement, top performance in sales and business development.
● Experience with CRM, social media, Email, Excel, Word and internet navigation.
Responsibilities
● Promote name recognition for our products and services.
● Research opportunities, identify targets, reach targets, set appointments, visit clients, close
deals.
● Build relationships and maintain them to capture repeat business year over year.
● Communicate client needs to our design team and work with them to prepare proposals.
● Work with our management team to keep clients informed during the duration of project.
Compensation
● Guaranteed base pay with commission.
● Commission is on a sliding scale that rewards reaching our sales goals.
● Commission will boost income to six figures and more when reaching minimum sales goals.
● Some flexibility in hours, paid vacation, holidays, and sick pay.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
● 3-5 years of sales related work experience (preferred)
● Track record of meeting sales goals (preferred)
● Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program (Preferred, but not mandatory)
