The team includes mental health clinicians, counselors, case managers, peer specialists, and an administrative support team to help people change their lives for the better.
Hours: This is a salaried, non-exempt position.
Must be available on a 24-hour basis for program consultation and crisis intervention if needed.
Salary: $105,000 to $115,000 per year Education: Masters degree or Doctoral degree in a mental health-related field, such as Psychology, Social Work or Counseling required Licensure: Licensed or license-eligible with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as a Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Psychologist with the California Board of Psychology required Benefits: 19 days of PTO and 12 paid holidays per year Free clinical supervision and CEUs Monthly contribution of $100 towards qualified student loan debt; access to Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program for eligible individuals Choice of medical plans, with minimal employee cost/expenses and excellent coverage Several dental plan options; vision benefits Company-paid life insurance and Long-Term Disability Tax-Free Flexible Spending for medical/dental/childcare expenses Generous retirement plan contributions Free Employee Assistance Plan Employee discount program, including pet insurance plans Opportunities for advancement and growth As the Program Director, you will: Managed and be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the assigned program, to include all legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements, staff management, client care, and quality assurance and control.
Provide overall management and coordination of all program operations and services.
Provide management and supervision of: service delivery and client care; contract compliance according to County, State, and CARF regulations; budget monitoring; employees and consultants; staff training and development; and quality control and safety procedures.
Oversee all admissions to the program and coordinates care with other mental health providers and community resources.
Serve as a representative and liaison within the community providing outreach and education regarding program services.
Additional Qualifications and Skills Experience working with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders At least one year of experience in a management level position, preferred Strong clinical skills and an ability to manage high stress and fast-paced environments Ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams Reliable transportation is required to fulfill the essential functions of this position.
A valid California drivers license in good standing and proof of insurance are required for employees driving personal vehicles on company business Ability to pass criminal/background clearance CRF inspires and mentors the next generation of mental health professionals! Areta Crowell Wellness Recovery Center is one of our Adult Outpatient programs (AOP), which provide behavioral health services including psychiatric and clinical assessment, treatment planning, ongoing medication services, individual and group counseling, case management, crisis intervention, mobile outreach, vocational support, peer support and older adult outreach.
We deliver fully integrated services to adult clients diagnosed with a serious mental illness, as well as individuals with co-occurring, mental health, and substance use disorders.
All of our outpatient programs also provide full-time walk-in services.
Our programs utilize evidence-based practices to assist our clients in reaching their goals and to live the highest quality of life while managing their mental illness.
CRF staff members work together to meet the needs of San Diego County residents who are experiencing mental/behavioral health challenges.
