About being our Regional Accounting Specialist II
As a Regional Accounting Specialist your skills and expertise will be utilized to support an energetic, fast-paced professional team with administrative contract and project support, and accounting functions that are associated with the various teams and projects.
Responsibility Highlights for our Regional Accounting Specialist II
Set up new projects using accounting software according to contract, client and project manager direction
Prepare subcontracts; review, track and coordinate subconsultants invoices ensuring they meet contract requirements and project budgets
Assist with administering contracts from execution to close out
Complete monthly project billings in compliance with client and contract specifications
Resource for project managers regarding the financial aspects of their projects (e.
g.
cost proposal spreadsheets, tracking of project budgets and project costs, analyzing financial reports)
Interface with clients to assist in resolving issues related to invoices, insurance, and contracts
Acquire insurance certificates and other documentation required by clients
Facilitate payroll processing for both office and union field staff - Requires gaining an understanding of union rules, prevailing wage and certified payroll
Timely and accurate processing and coding of credit cards and expense reports
Minimum Qualifications to be our Regional Accounting Specialist II
Minimum of 5 years of administrative, accounting or related experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with expertise in Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work and communicate well with multiple teams, both in an office atmosphere and virtually
Preferred Qualifications for our Regional Accounting Specialist II
Associates degree or higher
Prior experience within the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) industry
Knowledge of Deltek accounting software
