In this role, you will prepare clients’ tax filings and advise them on strategies to maximize savings and make sound financial decisions.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of tax laws and best practices in tax preparation.
Responsibilities Prepare Individual, Partnership, Corp & S-Corp tax returns Analyze income statements, previous tax returns, and other financial records to determine taxable income Assist with year end accounting if necessary Ability to learn Lacerte Tax Software.
MS Office Suite (to include Excel); familiar with general Qualifications Previous experience as a tax preparer for a minimum of 3 years Knowledge of federal and state tax laws CPA or EA Preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Quickbooks experience preferred Schedule Monday through Friday 8 hours; Saturdays 6 hours Overtime as needed
