QGOV Finance is currently seeking candidates who are looking for a unique opportunity to join the QGOV finance team supporting project financial analysis.
This role provides an opportunity to manage a portfolio of USG contract project financials, utilize various business systems and tools, and the chance to interact with management as well as cross functional partners (e.
g.
, program management, contracts, engineering, strategic development).
A successful candidate will possess strong analytical and communications skills and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possess the flexibility to work on various projects and deliverables simultaneously.
Ideal candidate will also have strong teamwork abilities and can identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to existing complex processes.
Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.
*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance.
Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance or CPA a plus Experience within a government contractor and tech industry a plus Experience with process improvements Strong written and verbal communication skills Proactive, engaged, self-starter and motivation to succeed Adaptable and flexible to changing business conditions Aptitude for financial systems and reporting, including Oracle, HFM, TM1, Costpoint, SharePoint, in addition to Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint *The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements for a U.

mil/mc/pv/mbi/gicp/ Principal Duties & Responsibilities USG contract project financial management including forecasting of annual budgets and quarterly outlooks, weekly EAC management, scenario analysis, and other various project deliverables.
Opportunity for stretch assignments within QGOV Finance across the entire business cycle (pricing/proposals, department expense management, financial statement consolidations, accounting, systems, and tools development/support, etc.
).
Level of Responsibility: • Works independently with minimal supervision.
• Provides supervision/guidance to other team members.
• Decision-making may affect work beyond immediate work group.
• Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information.
May require negotiation, influence, tact, etc.
• Develops and administers budgets, schedules, and performance standards for functional area within the prescribed budgetary objectives of the department.
