POSITION SUMMARY: • The Corporate Rebate Staff Accountant reports to the Senior Director of Strategic Alliances.
• Located in any of the following cities: Bedford Park, IL, Duluth, GA, Irvine, CA, Landover, MD, Lewisville, TX, Mansfield, MA, Omaha, NE, San Diego, CA • Full-Time • Hybrid TriMark USA is looking for a methodical and driven Professional to join the growing team at our company.
This position will work closely with our Director Rebates and Program Management and other financial operations personnel to handle day-to-day rebate accounting and purchase functions.
We are an energetic, growing company and are looking for a passionate individual to join our organization and bring more planning and organization to our day to day information tracking in the confidential corporate rebate sector.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for financial data and record keeping.
• Creation of rebate allocation files and associated tracking files.
• Track, report status and drive resolution of rebate payment variances.
Prepare rebate verification form templates for customers to ensure timely data submissions.
• Manage, improve, and maintain the controls over financial submissions and consolidation with all divisions of TriMark.
• Create data sheets to track and accumulate monthly/YTD purchases: • From individual TriMark Divisions.
• From Vendor base.
• From Buying groups.
• Work with confidential vendor contracts.
Ability to read and interpret detailed individual agreements.
Review incoming agreements and upload terms and conditions to the Rebates and Admin Fee system.
• Improve procedures and annotate corrective actions, when needed.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner that fosters positive relationships with internal (company personnel) and external (vendors) customers.
• Protects the Company's value by keeping information confidential.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Communicate effectively; ability to work with others in a professional manner while achieving common goals: • Internal: • Build relationships with TriMark Divisions.
• Work with Division contacts to collect purchase data, missing detail, and rebate data.
• Set up email groups for communication throughout all Divisions.
• External: • Communicate and follow up with vendors to collect purchase data.
• Work closely with vendors in preparation, explanation and verification of purchase detail.
• Assist in collections on rebate accounts for all overdue payments.
• Set up email groups for mass communications to vendors.
• Problem solving with rebates and ad-hoc issues.
COMPETENCIES: • Strong Excel skills; formula building; linking multiple spreadsheets, Smartsheet or Alteryx preferred • Business Intelligence (BI) report capability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport with a diverse workforce and customer base.
• Detail oriented, with time management skills.
• Self-Motivated/Ability to work without close supervision.
• Ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules is essential in this position.
• Maintain daily and monthly worksheets.
• Ability to create ad-hoc documents to present and share varied details and procedures.

• Planning & Organization: • Design, plan and implement projects and tasks within an allotted timeframe.
• Goal setting skills; deadline driven.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: • Associate’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business, or equivalent Military or practical experience.
• 1 – 3 years accounting experience preferred.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.
The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline.
Pay for this position will reflect the candidate’s unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location.
Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.
In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark’s’ benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc.
Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
