Job Duties · Records, verifies, and posts payments received by the Company · Ensures transactions are recorded promptly and accurately in accordance with the Company’s internal accounting policies · Reconciles payments with Accounts Receivable ledger and prepares reports on delinquent accounts · Responsible for customer billing and researching customer inquiries regarding bills · Works closely with Logistics to ensure timely and complete customer billing · Resolves valid or unauthorized deductions by customers on balances due · Filing & categorizing documentation · Entail some Accounts Payable job duties · Assisting with special projects · Other duties as assigned.
Requirements · Minimum associates degree in accounting or applicable degree, bachelors preferred.
· 2-4 years of similar job-related experience · Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word & Excel) · Previous experience in retailer customer accounting and deduction management a huge plus · Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central a plus · May require some overtime · May require some light lifting · Thrive in a fast-pace, engaging, deadline-driven environment · Strong written and verbal communication skills The position reports to the Controller.
