Accounting Specialist

Folklore Event Rentals is a rad rental company that is currently seeking an experienced and analytical Accounting Specialist who possesses excellent communication skills and is confident in conveying complex information in a clear and concise manner.
The ideal candidate should have a solid grasp of financial principles and be able to effortlessly navigate Quickbooks to run reports.
They should also be able to provide management with insightful analysis while maintaining accurate and well-organized records.
Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Responsibilities Include: Manage the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes Perform account analysis and reconciliations as needed Provide financial management support to various departments within the organization Maintain accurate records of financial transactions Collect, scan and upload invoices and receipts in accounting software (Quickbooks) Daily entry and proper categorization of expenses W-9 and 1099 management Help to develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Office Supply management.
Experience At least 2 years experience with Quickbooks At least 3 years of experience in accounting or related field required Experience with financial statement preparation and interpretation Knowledge of tax laws and regulations Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
