Income Tax Preparer

```Duties``` - must be certified with an efile number - Prepare and complete accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses - Review financial records, such as income statements and balance sheets, to determine tax liability - Utilize accounting software to input and calculate tax information - Stay up-to-date on current tax laws and regulations - Provide excellent customer service by answering client questions and addressing concerns - Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial documents and information - Identify potential tax deductions and credits for clients - Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations ```Experience``` - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tax Preparer or in a related field - Proficiency in using accounting software, such as taxwise or similar programs - Strong understanding of financial concepts and ability to perform complex calculations - Knowledge of corporate accounting principles and practices - Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Note: Experience in financial sales or as an accounting clerk is a plus.
