Full Charge Bookkeeper (CARLSBAD)

Civil Engineering company seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Carlsbad, CA.

Responsibilities: • Processing payables and receivables • Daily Banking requirements and bank reconciliations • Payroll including, quarterly reports to Federal and State Agencies • Obtain and maintain staff records to employees’ vacation and sick leave • Following up with vendors and accurate data entry • Set up client accounting files, vendor files and job files • Monthly client billings and reports • Annual Property Tax Returns and City Quarterly Reports • Auditing accounts and resolving discrepancies • Clerical work including filing • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required Qualifications: • Must have high school diploma, AA degree a plus • Courses in accounting or bookkeeping • Must be PC proficient • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word • Ten key by touch required • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Customer Service Skills • Ability to multi-task • Knowledge of Deltek/Ajera Software a plus
