Job Requirements Manage and oversee all aspects of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Collaborate with department heads to gather financial data and prepare accurate forecasts.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Conduct periodic reviews and audits to identify and mitigate financial risks.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Liaise with external auditors during the audit process.
Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team by providing guidance, training and mentorship to team members.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA Required) Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial leadership role Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting, experience with Dutch GAAP and/or IFRS Demonstrated history of effectively deploying ERP systems, with a focus on notable experience in NetSuite implementations In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and consolidation methodologies Familiarity with inter-company transactions and reconciliations Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Experience within the logistics industry preferred Salary Range: $120,000- $160,000 Core Values: We are One Team.
