Accounting/Purchasing Assistant

This position reports to the Purchasing Manager.
This role has the primary responsibility for being the main point of contact for Purchasing for their assigned properties.
We welcome fresh ideas as they relate to continuous improvement for the department.
Duties & Responsibilities: · critical thinking and analytical mindset · create/ send purchase orders and process invoices in a timely manner consistent with the needs of the department · maintain the purchase order tracking sheet with up-to-date information · keep properties apprised of expected arrival days · work closely with vendors to secure best price and quickest delivery day · ability to problem solve when, for example, an item is out of stock · excellent written and verbal interdepartmental communication Required: · bachelor’s degree · 1-2 years of experience in a related field/ role · on-site 5 days a week Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.
