*Job Title*: Staff Accountant, Salaried-Exempt
*Qualifications required*:
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting is a must
* CPA preferred
* Must have 3+ years of work experience in a similar role
* Must be detail oriented and have a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting
* Must have solid knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles
* Organizational and time management skills to meet time sensitive deadlines
* Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
* Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
* Advanced Excel skills and 3+ years of ERP experience
* 3+ years of experience in reconciling all balance sheet accounts
* Working on site in office 5 days per week (Mon-Fri); *no remote or hybrid*
*Internal qualifications required*:
* Introduction Training about the basic working procedures
* A scheduled tour in the organization and its different departments
* Introduction training about company rules and regulations
*Specifications of responsibilities*:
* Assist in the month-end closing process by preparing journal entries, general account analysis, and account reconciliations
* Reconcile subledgers to the general ledger on a monthly basis
* Ensure financial transactions are recorded in compliance with GAAP
* Respond to information requests, review financial statements and assist with audits
* Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions at month end, ensure accuracy of financial statements and timeliness
* Prepare, review and analyze monthly financial statements for variance reporting
* Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports
* Develop and maintain documentation of current controls, processes, practices, and workflows
* Record daily cash activity as required
* Perform all other duties as assigned
