_*Job Description:*_We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team.
As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and success of our restaurant group.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, particularly with QuickBooks Online, and a keen eye for accuracy and efficiency.
_*Responsibilities:*_ - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing procedures.
- Generate financial reports as needed.
- Work closely with the accounting team/lead bookkeeper to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned such as filing, opening and distributing mail, making bank runs, and other administrative tasks.
_*Requirements:*_ - Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and terminology is a plus.
