Accounts Payable Specialist

We have a great career opportunity for an Account Payable Specialist, who will be a key contributor to the Accounting team.
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing our financial transactions and ensuring the smooth flow of payments in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining accurate financial records and contributing to the overall success of our finance team.
RESPONSIBILITIES: * Handling high-volume accounts payable for separate entities and vendors.
* Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors.
* Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
* Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges.
* Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts.
* Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently.
* Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
* Manage the full accounts payable cycle, from invoice receipt to payment.
* Utilize QuickBooks financial software to track and record transactions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * 3 – 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable within a high-volume setting.
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; or a combination of education and experience that will likely result in the ability to perform all essential duties as assigned.
* Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,100.
00 - $72,000.
