Come join Intuit Small Business and Self Employed Group’s Product Portfolio and Growth Strategy team as the Senior Manager of Business Operations for the Accountant Growth Priority and the Accountant Segment.
This is a role on an exciting new team that is building out the long-term strategy and overseeing execution for QB Accountants globally.
Intuit is actively seeking a strategic leader who can help drive Business Operations for 2 key areas related to Accountants: our internal strategic pillar around driving Accountant growth as well as driving the regular operations of the Accountant segment itself.
The Senior Manager of Business Operations for Accountants will join a team of biz ops professionals and influence a larger cross-functional team of leaders across the Small Business & Self-Employed Group (SBSEG).
This person will need to establish partnership and influence across a larger cross-functional team in SBSEG, and will have broad exposure to many senior leaders.
This will require very strong strategic, organizational,and initiative management skills, as well as clarity of communication and presentation abilities.
Candidates should also have experience developing business and/or corporate strategies, connecting those to clear implementation plans, and have a proven track record in delivering results.
Note, the role is preferably but not required to be based in Mountain View, CA.
What you'll bring
5-7+ years’ experience including roles in business operations, management consulting, or strategy in a large, matrixed environment
Proven track record in leveraging data and insight-backed hypotheses and strategies, and experience driving through execution
Experience driving large complex programs in coordination with a variety of cross-functional leaders
Strong organization, communications, and presentation skills
Ability to synthesize various points of view in to a cohesive narrative and build a presentation for senior leaders
High attention to detail, strong project management background, and proven ability to work successfully in a cross-functional environment
FinTech and/or SaaS experience a plus, but not required
How you will lead
Partner with the sponsors and accountable leaders to shape and drive an initiative-level strategy, defining and ensuring the end-to-end experience outcomes and overall initiative input and outcome goals (strategic, customer, financial)
Shape strategy, drive execution, and constantly push your initiative forward, ensuring it is on the desired trajectory
Work across x-functional mission teams to enable work, set pace, and surface blockers that need resolution or escalation
Act as the source of truth on progress and impact, formalizing leading indicators and key milestones, working across Biz Ops / project management office (PMO) teams to report on progress and ensure consistent status roll up and metrics
Surface opportunities and risks, outline data-driven strategic decisions, and frame actionable recommendations.
Partner with cross-functional leaders to successfully implement recommendations and be jointly accountable for outcomes
Build and maintain strong relationships across the Intuit and SBSEG leadership team to ensure that we are thinking holistically across multiple business segments and functions in the context of driving growth
Design operating models and rhythms to enable effective decision making and information flow, run and facilitate business reviews and planning meetings to improve the way we work together
