Part-time Bookkeeper

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team.
As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of financial principles and possesses excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Duties: - Importing and recording financial transactions from practice management system, reconciling bank statements - Prepare financial reports - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions - Process check payments - Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies - Prepare and submit tax forms, such as sales tax returns or payroll tax filings - Assist the accounting team to support month-end and year-end close processes - Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks) to manage financial records Skills: - Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices - Proficiency in using accounting software (QuickBooks) - Experience with financial report writing and analysis - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Familiarity with bank reconciliation procedures - Knowledge of governmental accounting regulations is a plus - Understanding of corporate accounting standards and GAAP As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall financial health of our organization.
