Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

What will I do in this role? This position is responsible for performing accounts payable processing: entering, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices; completing timely payments; managing vendor records; responding to questions and research requests; processing employee expense reimbursements; and processing corporate credit cards.
Additionally, this position will assist in general ledger reconciliations, data analysis, identify opportunities for process improvements, and support the completion of department projects as needed.
What qualifications do I need to have for this role? Requirements: -Two years college level Accounting courses or equivalent experience -Two years accounts payable processing experience required Preferences: -Experience using 10 key calculating and other keyboard equipment -Demonstrated knowledge of basic math and accounting principles -Basic computer skills in Excel and Word -Good analytical and research skills -Good organizational skills -Good writing and communication skills -Attention to detail -Works independently •-Interpersonal skills -Excel and Symitar experience highly preferred -The ability to process a large volume of work within tight deadlines and with a high level of proficiency and accuracy Skills/Competencies: -Service focused individuals, who prioritize the member and end user experience.

Where will I be working? This role is Location Dependent and is based at the Operations Center-6545 Sequence Drive, San Diego, CA 92121.
What is the pay range? Pay Scale: $24.
50-$31.
