Dermatology Billing/ Accounts Receivable Specialist

```Duties``` - Process and post payments received from customers - Prepare and send out invoices to customers - Monitor insurance claims and customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up on outstanding balances - Resolve billing discrepancies and issues - Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and interactions - Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable - Generate reports on accounts receivable status as needed ```Requirements``` - Previous experience in accounts receivable or related field - Knowledge of medical billing and collection processes - Familiarity with medical coding systems such as ICD-10 and ICD-9 - Understanding of medical terminology and procedures - Proficiency in using accounting software and systems - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
