RESPONSIBLE TO: Chief Executive Officer
Compensation: $60,000-$68,000
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Daily download of the prior workday’s banking activities into QuickBooks.
Daily creation of Synergy’s prior day’s banking activity spreadsheet provided to
leadership.
Daily allocation of all credit card activity from the prior day’s activity through
merchant account reports.
Daily allocation of all remote and EFT banking deposits by location.
Daily uploading Positive pay file into the online banking feature.
Daily reviewing Positive pay bank exceptions.
Daily processing of all AP invoices from vendors using accounts payable software
into QuickBooks.
Daily resolve AP invoices exceptions created by system
Weekly processing of all AP payments based on timing/cash flow.
Twice or three times monthly processing of payroll activity into QuickBooks.
Creation of spreadsheets for shared employee payroll allocation.
Creation of spreadsheets for all health insurance allocations per location and enter
allocations into QuickBooks.
Resolving vendor issues with AP.
Review the financials to ensure the validity of the activity.
Monthly reconciling of all bank and credit card accounts.
Assist in monthly closings.
Resolving all other issues that are handed off for resolution.
Annual creation of 1099’s returns.
Assist with annual audit.
Present financials/bank reconciliations/reports to CPA for annual tax return
OTHERS
Respect patients by recognizing their rights and maintaining confidentiality.
Attend all meetings and training courses as required.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or accounting
Master’s Degree preferred.
Experience: 5+ years of medical office experience

Experience with basic computer programs, including QuickBooks, Office365, and EMR
systems.
Strong knowledge and understanding of Insurance.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Requires prolonged sitting, frequent mobility, bending, stooping, and stretching.
Requires manual dexterity sufficient for and proficiency in using office machines such as
telephones, computers, copier/fax machines, and other equipment as necessary.
Require vision and hearing within a normal range.
Lifting of up to 30 pounds.
