About This Job As Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing expertise in strategic areas and building partnerships and relationships with senior leaders and fellow analysts across the Bank.
You will own a series of strategic and technical routines and outputs within the finance, treasury, and accounting spaces.
You will possess depth within a select number areas tied to banking-specific corporate finance decisions, forecasting, modeling of financial statements, variance analysis and more.
You will also have the ability coach/mentor and scope complex tasks and projects for less experienced analysts.
Responsibilities Own delivery of analysis and initiatives tied to area of expertise to support the goals of the department, including scoping analysis and engaging key business partners with little or no supervision Gather, assess, and report data to establish metrics and on-going benefits tracking Effectively and efficiently manage and report on agreed-to initiatives to completion Manage project workload, ensure high quality output, and that the project team is focused on solving the right problems with the right solutions Collaborate effectively with management and staff both within and outside accounting, finance, and treasury to ensure impact on both upstream, downstream, and across company activities, and ensure regulatory compliance Recommend operational improvements by analyzing business functions, gathering information, and evaluating system capabilities Strong oral and written communication skills to be able to produce whitepapers and evidential support for regulatory and financial issues Consult senior leadership on specific ad hoc projects, building on analytical competences and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects across departments from a technical, process, controls, and technology purpose Requirements Bachelor's degree 3+ years in Banking Analytics, Corporate Finance within a Financial Services company or Financial Services Consulting; demonstrated competence with basic Bank management concepts Budgeting and forecasting models and software, such as Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services Axos Employee Benefits May Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Paid Sick Leave, 3 weeks’ Vacation, and Holidays (about 11 a year) HSA or FSA account and other voluntary benefits 401(k) Retirement Saving Plan with Employer Match Program and 529 Savings Plan Employee Mortgage Loan Program and free access to an Axos Bank Account with Self-Directed Trading About Axos Born digital-first, Axos delivers financial tools and services that allow individuals, small businesses, and companies to access and manage their money how, when, and where they want.
