Our work environment includes: * Modern office setting * Food provided Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain financial records, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger - Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports - Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions - Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate recordkeeping - Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting - Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures - Ensure compliance with applicable accounting principles and regulations - Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role - Proficient in using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks - Knowledge of governmental accounting principles is a plus - Familiarity with payroll processing and related regulations - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping - Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment Please note that the responsibilities listed above are not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
