Summary
The Sr.
Accounts Receivable Administrator maintains all areas of the Accounts Receivable accounting and activities and provides the required support to the Sales/Distribution Department in the area of Accounts Receivable.
This is a hybrid position with flexibility to work remote part of the week.
Responsibilities
Maintain the end-to-end Accounts Receivable process
Play an integral role in the month-end accounting close process by processing applicable journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
Perform collections duties on customer accounts and send follow up communication as necessary
Process and post customer receipts and ensure customer statements are sent monthly
Perform customer reconciliations and resolve payment application issues
Maintain customer relationships through frequent communication
Answer and assist with incoming communication from customers and the Sales team regarding billing and payment questions
Manage all aspects of the customer credit and billback process
Advise on new customer setup and ensure all master data is correctly set up in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
Analyze Accounts Receivable aging and other KPIs (key performance indicators).
Communicate results to management and other key stakeholders
Collaborate with Sales, Distribution, Warehouse and Finance teams as needed
Lead monthly Export customer aging review with International Sales Team and Accounting Managers
Manage and keep Standard Operating Procedures current
Assist with the Accounts Receivable section of audits
Monitor and advise on internal controls impacting sales and accounts receivable
Provide support for enhancements, upgrades and new systems impacting the Accounts Receivable function
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor or Associate degree a plus, preferably in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 5 years of related experience and/or training in high volume receivables processing; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience with Microsoft AX or equivalent Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
Must have strong customer service skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and written
Occasional travel required to Sapporo Stone Brewing locations
