We are a growing financial planning firm in San Diego.
In addition to financial planning, we offer tax planning/preparation, estate planning and investment services for our clients.
Our staff work closely together to ensure our clients are truly taken care of.
We are a hard-working group and provide a pleasant low-stress but busy environment.
While the job description is below, personality and a pleasant office demeanor with the ability to relate to our 55 clientele age group is key.
We prepare approx.
700 tax returns, mix of personal and business.
Additionally, we have about 25 corporate bookkeeping clients and 15 payroll clients.
This is a Full-Time position as a bookkeeper who will also support the tax preparers during tax season.
Daily duties include downloading and categorizing bank transactions primarily into QB desktop, some QB online.
Send monthly financials to clients, enter payroll as needed and complete sales tax reporting.
Opportunity and encouraged to become a tax preparer.
*You MUST have the following:*
* 5 years bookkeeping/payroll
* Knowledge of sales tax reporting a plus
* Proficient in Quick Books and excel.
Drake software a plus, not required.
* Organizational and communication skills must be excellent.
* Solid understanding of financial reporting (P&L and Balance Sheet)
* Tax preparation a huge plus, but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $40,000.
