Accounting Assistant

*Job Summary:* We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team with a focus on Inventory Control.
This position reports directly to the Accounting Department Supervisor.
On-site position located in Rancho Bernardo area of San Diego Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm $19.
00-$20.
00/hour DOEE *Primary Responsibilities:* * Reconciles inventory discrepancies with cost vs sell margins to ensure accurate pricing * Resolves any discrepancies via investigative methods * Places purchase orders as necessary * Maintains business files and records according to company standards * Performs cycle counting as needed and assists in inventory reconciliation * Assists in other AP/AR as directed by the department supervisor * Other administrative support as needed *Skills:* * 3 years of accounting and inventory control experience.
* Familiarity with NetSuite * Ability to learn new software as needed.
* Experience with Excel spreadsheets.
* A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to calculate figures.
