Accounts Payable Clerk

We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk who will process accounts payable and assist purchasing.
Responsibilities Responsible for all Accounts Payable processes.
Verifies and pays invoices on employee expenses, executes check or payment runs, reconciles balances, and maintains records.
Sets up and maintains vendors or suppliers in the accounting system.
Ensures transactions are timely and accurate, and that expenses are accurately coded and allocated.
Responds to inquiries from vendors or employees and researches and resolves concerns or discrepancies.
Processes and audits of employee expense reports.
Performs credit card reconciliations.
Shipping invoice reconciliations: Identifies shipping changes that need rebilled.
Setups and processes 1099 vendors and yearly reporting to Internal Revenue Service.
Works closely with purchasing to ensure product is received and accrued expense is recognized, or invoice posted.
Edits purchase requests and processes purchase orders.
Verifies bills from suppliers with quotes and purchase orders and approves bills for payment.
Maintains files and records with regards to accounts payables and purchasing.
Other accounting duties as assigned.
Required Skills Strong computer skills: Great Plains experience preferred.
Strong customer service and extremely detail oriented.
Experience 24 2 Years (Minimum) Minimum of 2-4 years in A/P and purchasing preferred.
Education Bachelor Degree Required College degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
