LVN Nurse - Part Time

Great opportunity for new grads or LVNs looking to get out of the stressful SNF environment! At Canyon Villas Assisted Living, we strive to create a family-like environment for our residents and staff and are looking for a caring and attentive LVN to join the team.
Most of our residents are fairly independent with the majority of their care done by our CNAs and med-techs, and the LVN oversees their care as needed.
As the LVN on shift, responsibilities include: * Medication assistance, including insulin injections * Wound care * Implement care plans in accordance with physician's orders or established nursing practices.
* Assess client physical and mental status and document observations and assessments in accordance with department policy.
* Dispense medications and treatments as directed by physician or registered nurse.
* Communicate effectively with other medical professionals and staff.
* Answer telephones, enter data into computer, and prepare reports as required.
* Communicate effectively with patients, clients, visitors, and families.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $37.
00 - $39.
